TAKE A BREAK FOR A

MENTAL HEALTH MOMENT

Take care of your mental health to handle stress, have healthy relationships, learn and grow. You can boost your mental health by going for a walk, practicing mindfulness, talking with a friend, or seeking help when you need it, making life better all around.

Mental Health Moment - FREEDOM

Mental health and freedom are deeply intertwined concepts. Without good mental health, individuals cannot fully experience the freedoms of life, such as pursuing personal goals, fulfilling relationships and enjoying everyday activities. Consequently, numerous studies have highlighted the importance of prioritizing mental health in order to improve quality of life and ensure individuals can exercise their freedoms. At the same time, freedom itself can have an impact on mental well-being. For example, when individuals are granted the freedom to express themselves, they may feel more confident and empowered, leading to improved mental health. Similarly, social freedom to construct and maintain meaningful relationships with friends and family can provide a sense of belonging and support, crucial to positive mental health. Overall, mental health and freedom are inextricably linked as one of the core aspects of the human experience and should be prioritized equally.

Mental Health Moment - JOY

Joy is a nice feeling that makes us happy and content. We feel this way when we do something good or exciting. Everyone has different things that make them feel joyful, such as spending time with family and friends, achieving a goal, or enjoying a hobby. Feeling joy is not only good for our emotions but also good for our body. Research shows that people who experience joy more often tend to have better health, like a stronger immune system and less stress.
