Nevetta King has devoted the past two decades to the noble pursuit of guiding and supporting others, both through her professional endeavors and her ministry. With an unshakable belief in the boundless capabilities of God, she is driven by a profound passion and unwavering dedication to assisting individuals in addressing the complexities of life at their core. Nevetta’s mission is to empower and uplift individuals as they traverse the path toward wholeness and a harmonious life balance.
An esteemed graduate of the Royal Priesthood Academy in San Antonio, Texas, Nevetta holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Christian Counseling. She is a Certified Temperament Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor accredited by the National Christian Counseling Association. Nevetta is also a Certified Mental Health Coach through Light University and a Brain Coach with Brain Coach LLC in San Antonio, Texas, under the esteemed leadership of Dr. Sunita Punjabi.
Currently serving as the Director of Faith-Based Initiatives at SJRC Texas, Nevetta oversees operations spanning 28 counties in the South Central Texas and Hill Country area. In this role, she collaborates with congregations and the faith-based community, implementing innovative ideas to provide hope and healing through advocacy. Additionally, Nevetta is actively engaged with various organizations and ministries in San Antonio, specializing in youth services and administrative functions.
Beyond her professional achievements, Nevetta finds fulfillment in her roles as a wife to David Darrell King and a mother to four children – Alethea, Justin, Jeremy, and Jessica. Her family has expanded to include five grandchildren – Tae’Shawn, Serenity, Summer, Amelia, and ZIyah. Nevetta eagerly looks forward to the opportunity to serve and accompany you on your journey to wholeness, guided by the biblical wisdom: “With man, this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible” (Matt. 19:26).
